Futurama Brain Slug Assembled by billybob884 Futurama Brain Slug Assembled by billybob884
Heh, well that was fun. This is a brain slug, from the old cartoon Futurama. Just finished tonight, took a couple of quick pictures, and of course one on my head...

It's just sitting there, you can glue a small piece of string on the inside of it (the entire bottom is open) to be able to wear it around, but I didn't bother for mine.

If the show was still as big as it used to be, I might have considered walking around campus wearing this little guy.

Enjoy!

Futurama reminds me of Simpsons. This reminds me of I SPEND TOO MUCH TIME ON THE TV AND NOT ENOUGH ON PAPERCRAFTING!

You realize that Futurama was made by the same people who did the Simpsons... Right?

Futurama actually just gained a new season of episodes, and i think theyre gonna keep going, so maybe its popularity will go back up.

Nah, make a spare one and tape/glue/whatever else it to a headband and voila! Just find a headband that matches your hair color.

how do you scale it up?
Reply
:iconbillybob884:
billybob884 Featured By Owner Apr 30, 2011
the easy way requires access to a printer that can handle paper bigger than regular 8.5"x11" paper; in adobe acrobat, hit print, and under page scaling choose "tile large pages", then for "tile scaling" you can specify the page size. if you don't, you'd have to manually scale the model in pepakura (the PDO model file is included), which would work too, but is considerably more work
