The large circle on the 2nd page is to give the inner ball a flat surface to sit on when you want your answer, otherwise its kind of ambiguous which is supposed to be the prediction, since it will be resting on an angle.

Those don't break easily, but this might fold in. SOLUTION: Papier mache. Apply it to the outer layer of your ball (the 8 ball, not your... erm... never mind) and (spray) paint/color it. And there you have it! As long as you don't drop it or try piggybank-breaking it with a hammer, you have an indestructible 8 ball!
