Wall-Mounted Iris by billybob884 Wall-Mounted Iris by billybob884
This is a late addition to the Mechanical Iris I posted a while back. Haven't really posted much lately and wanted to prove I'm still floating around out here somewhere, so when I finally got around to wall-mounting my iris model, I figured I'd throw a shot of it up here.

It's pretty simple actually, I got a cheap hand-mirror at a local dollar store, tore it apart to get rid of hte plastic bits, and fit it in the center of a large piece of cardboard. Using half a gallon of crazy glue, I stuck the back of the iris to the cardboard so the mirror would be centered at the aperture, and glued a little picture hook from an old broken picture frame to the back so I could hang it.

Et, voilą!
