dA Llamas Assembled

Description

So, here they are: models for the dA llama badges!

To start with, I am less than 100% satisfied with how the Ninja Llama turned out. I'm not disgusted with it, but of the lot, it's the one I think could really use some additional work. There was no real easy way to make the mask fit over the head, so you get what you see... But whatever, at this point, I'm just ready to be done with this project.

As I stated in the W.I.P. picture, all of the pieces are removable, so you can mix and match as you see fit. There are four different llama base models; the regular, albino, golden, and rainbow. All additional ranks are simply their accompanying accessories.

The base model llama comes out to 3.5" (9cm) long, 1.5" (4cm) wide, and 4.5" (11.5cm) high, obviously ranging with accessories (the tallest coming to 5.5" (14cm)).

I've gotta say though, as silly as the llama badges were at first glance, they do seem to be helping people get more exposure. Not that I keep track, but looking at how many watchers I typically get a month, I've seen upwards of three times more since April Fool's Day (when the llama badges "joke" started); not to mention the new artists I've found and now watch.

For the moment, the sunglasses are not included. While I was modeling everything else, I did attempt them, but I could never get them to the point where I was happy with them. They just didn't stretch out nicely over the nose.

Final thoughts: the paper Golden Llama was much easier to achieve than the digital one (which still eludes me by ~1300 ~1000 ~450! Golden Llama Achieved!)

Also! Although people claim the Rainbow Llama badge is a real one, I've yet to see anyone with it.

Double Also! The PDO deviation has become a Daily Deviation! :D
